Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Adult Basic Education (ABE)  Registration is easy!  1). Register online or in-person 2). Attend orientation, complete an English and math assessment and be placed into class 3). Meet with the advisor to discuss your goals.

Classes are FREE!    

Class Schedule

• T/W/Th 9:00 AM-10:30 AM
• T/Th 5:30 PM-8:30 PM   

Students will...

• Improve basic academic skills in reading, writing, and math.
• Prepare for entering the high school program, college, work, or career training.
• Test prep: prepare for the HiSET exams (high school equivalency), ASVAB, CBEST, or other academic test prep.

Placement is based on the California Adult School Assessment System (CASAS) assessment reading or math score of 220-238. The assessment results help to determine if this class is the best fit for you.
