OSY - Out of School Youth

Out of School Youth Services  -- Ages 18-24

Assisting youth with education attainment and workforce development preparation, including:

• Access to high school diploma or high school equivalency courses
• Paid or unpaid work experience
• Job search services
• Access to employment and training resources
• Access to employability skills, interview, resume
• Mentoring for academic attainment and personal goal setting
• HiSET Test fees covered

Participants must meet the following criteria:

• Youth must not be enrolled in high school
• Must live in Sacramento county
• Must meet federal income requirements setforth by WIOA eligibility guidelines
• Must provide right to work documents (valid CA ID and Social Security card)
• Must have a significant barrier to employment (see Job Center staff)
