OSY - Out of School Youth
Out of School Youth Services -- Ages 18-24
Assisting youth with education attainment and workforce development preparation, including:
- Access to high school diploma or high school equivalency courses
- Paid or unpaid work experience
- Job search services
- Access to employment and training resources
- Access to employability skills, interview, resume
- Mentoring for academic attainment and personal goal setting
- HiSET Test fees covered
Participants must meet the following criteria:
- Youth must not be enrolled in high school
- Must live in Sacramento county
- Must meet federal income requirements setforth by WIOA eligibility guidelines
- Must provide right to work documents (valid CA ID and Social Security card)
- Must have a significant barrier to employment (see Job Center staff)
